Custom arch supports may be a suitable option for some individuals with foot pain. Research shows that custom vs. off-the-shelf arch supports are most effective in individuals with pes cavus or 'high arches'. In conjunction with an individualized exercise program targeting foot/ankle and lower body strength and mobility, custom arch supports may be effective at reducing pain associated with plantar fasciitis and other food conditions.

Orthotics are made out of a durable aquaplast material that is heated to a temperature that allows it to mold to your foot. It is shaped to fit specifically to your foot. It takes approximately 30 minutes to make 1 arch support. The individual is asked to wear for 2-3 days and then return for any modifications that need to be made for comfort.

If you have tried other pre-fabricated orthotics or therapies without relief, custom orthotics may be a good option for you.
